Specma upgrades the hydraulics at Rebnis Power Station

During the year, Specma upgraded the hydraulics at Rebnis power station in Skellefteälven at Arjeplog.

The hydraulics are used to control the water supply to the turbine. In the actual case, there is a turbine of Francis type, which means that regulation takes place through the manoeuvring of the wicked gates and throttle valves.

The project included design and fabriction of a new hydraulic power unit and installation at the power station via new piping and installation of new servomotors (cylinders). Filters for cooling water and load bearing lubrication equipment were also installed.

Specma also participated at site during commissioning of the new equipment.
